My Vinyl Record Rating System: I am not far from what many serious collectors consider the ultimate record grading system which is Goldmine. The vast majority of what I sell is NM- or VG+, however I will & do sell lower grades if I think they are rare or bit hard to find.
Please pay attention to my comments:I usually try to address things I think buyer should know before they purchase from me. My feedbacks (knock on wood -will show you that I am an honest reliable seller). I make every effort to give accurate descriptions.
PLEASE NOTE: I test most records on my sound system before I place them up for sale, however sometimes they look so good I do visual ratings.
1)In my opinion there is no such thing as a mint record.
2)Factory Sealed......... Means just that, still in original sealed wrap. This is considered by many in mint condition however who knows until it is opened and played. I consider all sealed records as near mint- at best.
3)Near Mint-.................Very few, if any Imperfections ( I prefer not to use NM but rather NM- simply because there almost always seems to be minor imperfections on all vinyl)
4)Very Good +(plus).......Records in this grade will have light sleeve marks with very few light scratches that will not effect them while being played. They may have an occasional tic or pop. I find this to be normal on vinyl providing it is not excessive.
5)Very Good ......................... Records in this grade were carefully taken care of and well played but not abused. Will have more obvious marks, scratches. Some surface noise may occur on the quiet tracks.
6)Very Good- (minus).....Records in this grade will have many marks, scratches, Most likely will have background noise.
I prefer not to sell records under my grade of very good however some are a bit rare and I will list them occasionally for various reasons wich will be explained. (i.e. rarity, covers,etc.)
Album Covers: I do not grade these simply because the pictures which you see are the actual LP you are buying or bidding on. Pictures will show you visual condition. Many will be addressed in comments.

I'm selling mostly used LP's and until your purchase is in your possession and you are satisfied I don't really feel that the transaction is complete. I strive to never intentionally misrepresent anything I am selling.

Should any returns become necessary I will refund purchase price less return shipping charges. LP must be returned in same condition that it was when shipped.
