Description

This is part of a big auction of blues and R&B 7" records. There are many King and Chess records here with several "bonus" listings and a handful of rarities. Keep an eye out for a large Specialty Records auction in a couple of weeks then an oddball auction of mainly 60's rock 'n roll, many with picture sleeves.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1958


Notes: Silver & blue label first pressing. Cobra doesn't get the credit that Chess & Checker do, but they released some outstanding blues records.  This is one of them. Classic electrified Chicago blues sound with very soulful vocals.  


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in pretty nice shape with just a few spots of light surface scuffing and a ring scuff around one groove. It's kind of add, but this one sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, with no tearing/stickers, just some very light scuffing on the silver part. Nice copy of this tough to find record.
