Description
DESCRIPTION: This is the first pressing of 'The Second Stage Turbine Blade' by Coheed and Cambria, pressed in Germany and released on the Defiance Records label in 2002. This was pressed on black vinyl only and was limited to just 500 copies.
There are a few light, superficial smudges on the vinyl playing surfaces, but no scratches. None of the smudges affect playback, which is clear. There is some low-level inherent surface noise, probably due to the cheap pressing, but this is not loud, never overpowers the music, and can only be heard inbetween tracks or during quieter moments (of which there aren't many!). Otherwise, there are no pops, tics or skips.
The cover is in really nice condition. If I am being hyper-critical, there is a teeny-tiny bit of light wear at the top and bottom corners of the spine (see pictures), but otherwise, no ringwear, no tears and no creases. The spine is square and the spine text is clear and legible.
The lyric sheet is included and although it does have a few flaws - a couple of creases and a tiny (0.5mm) tear on the top edge - these are largely insignificant.
GRADING: Unless a record is sealed, I play-grade everything on a high-end turntable. My grading is strict, so even if you are buying a 'VG+' record from me, the chances are that you are actually buying a very nice keeper copy. Despite this, mistakes can happen; so, if you feel that I haven't graded something properly, please contact me immediately. As a collector of vinyl myself, I know how important customer satisfaction is and I will do everything I can to resolve any issues.
SHIPPING: I do not use eBay's Global Shipping Program; the shipping costs quoted in my listings are the actual cost of shipping from the UK. I do not profit from shipping and I always refund any overpayment for shipping. I do ship internationally, but note that the shipping cost quoted for international shipping is for the US only. For other destinations, please contact me for a revised invoice or, alternatively, just pay the automated invoice and I will refund any overpayment.
PACKAGING: I do not charge for packaging costs. All records are packed well in sturdy record mailers with additional cardboard for protection. To prevent any seam splits during transit, I always ensure that records are packed outside of their covers.
Apologies, I just noticed a typo in my description - the tear on the top edge of the insert is actually 0.5cm (i.e. 5mm). For those not familiar with metric measurements, that is the equivalent of approximately 0.2 of an inch (so, still not a big tear!) :-)
