Item Description:

Hello today we are offering a vinyl record as per the listing title.

Record has been tested on a turntable and is playing well. 

This is a very rare record which does not often come on the market. Letting the bidders work out a value on this one - No Buy it now price. 

All parts of the Vinyl record have been examined under light, cleaned when needed and assigned an overall grade as below. We do our very best to keep our vinyls clean, but some extremely minor dust may be attracted to the vinyl during storage and photography.

Grade: EXCELLENT (E)

Vinyl will be placed in a plastic outer sleeve and shipped in a new strong cardboard vinyl record mailer. All our records are shipped with tracking and insurance. Will ship worldwide.

Vinyl Record Grades

We have created our own grading system for vinyl records, this is an overall grade that considers both the cover, vinyl, and any inserts/extras. This grading system is heavily influenced by the Goldmine and Vinyl Factory grading system. If a record falls between grades or there is something that stands out cosmetically it will be noted in the Additional Condition Notes

Lots of time and efforts goes into inspecting, grading, and listing the vinyl records we offer for sale, we stand by our grading system but if something is not to your satisfaction please get in contact and we will do our best to rectify any issues.

MINT (M)
Absolutely perfect in every way. Never been played and usually sealed. Rarely will we list records in this condition.

NEAR MINT (NM)

A good description of a Near Mint record is it looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time. In other words, it is nearly perfect.

Near Mint records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any spindle marks from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable. Major factory defects also must be absent; a record and label obviously pressed off centre is not Near Mint. If played, it will do so with no surface noise. (NM records dont have to be never played; a record used on an excellent turntable can remain NM after many plays if the disc is properly cared for.)

Near Mint covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind. The whole package is complete with any factory included inserts and lyric sheets being present.

EXCELLENT (E)

A good description of an Excellent record is except for a couple of minor things, this would be Near Mint. Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with an Excellent Record.

Excellent records may show some signs of very minor wear, including light scuffs or a few very light hairline scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the centre hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.

Excellent covers will only have minor wear, a single neat store price sticker and some very minor rubbing/whitening is acceptable but there will be no seam wear or splits, discolouration, stains, writing, holes, or other noticeable damage. Graphics will still be nice and bright.

Unless otherwise stated the record is complete with any factory included inserts and lyric sheets being present.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) 

Similar to excellent but with a few further faults, however nothing that overly compromises the record visually or audibly. More scuffs and scratches some of which are larger than hairline size, some signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the centre hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. These record faults may result in a little background crackle or pop but no skipping or major loss of audio quality.

VG+ Covers may have a single tatty store price sticker and some additional rubbing/whitening as well as more evidence of handling but there will be no seam wear or splits, discolouration, stains, writing, holes, or other noticeable damage. Some loss of gloss may have occurred, but graphics will still be nice and bright. 

Unless otherwise stated the record is complete with any factory included inserts and lyric sheets being present.

Most collectors looking to play their records will be happy with a VG+ Record.

Very Good (VG)

Records that are very good have seen relatively extensive use.

VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. Expect to see more scuffs and scratches. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song?s intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise.

VG covers present quite well but will have many signs of human handling. Several stickers may be present and in addition there may be some neat pen or texta writing. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some noticeable creases might be visible. Seam splitting of about an inch on any sides may be present. No major holes, stains, or rips. Most of the gloss will be gone and some minor fading may have occurred but cover graphics will still present well and cover will be solid and hold record quite nicely.

The record may be missing factory included inserts and lyric sheets this will be noted in the description.

Most of our records will be Very Good grade or above, rarely will we sell below this grade.

Good (G) Fair (F) and Below

Rarely do we sell records in this grade or below, expect noticeable cosmetic and audibly damage and faults. Records that we do sell in this condition will be described on a case-by-case basis.

We will usually only list very popular/expensive records at discounted prices for the purpose of collection fillers or extremely rare records in this condition.

POSTAGE

Postage is to be paid by the BUYER. The majority of items will be sent by Registered postage to ensure that there are no problems for all parties involved.

The vast majority of my items are packaged well using a cardboard box, bubble wrap and additional padding however lower value items that are DVD case size or smaller are sent as a regular or registered letters to save on postage costs, if you wish to have these types of items sent boxed please contact me (additional charges will apply)

We stand by our products and will Endeavor to assist you if something is wrong. Please do keep in mind though that most of our products are used and may show signs of wear and tear. Should you need to return an item please bring a proof of purchase with you (receipt, invoice, bank statement)

It is important to note however that NO Electrical Goods and/or Appliances sold by Griffith Secondhand treasures have undergone professional testing and tagging.
