Description
Columbia No. 210, the famous "Laughing Song" by George Washington Johnson, called the first African-American to record a popular song. This issue is on a Columbia "pre-conditions" design label, ca. 1903-1904. No American Graphophone Co. label on back, "patented Nov. 25, 1902" in the dead wax. G+ condition with some wear, stripping and a needle gouge. Listen to the unrestored sample!
Records will be sandwiched between cardboard, wrapped in bubble-wrap and shipped in a 12 x 12 x 6" box with plenty of packing material. I have years of safely packing and shipping 78s, so bid with confidence! I also gladly combine winning lots!
