Columbia TWO 404 1st UK issue form 51 years ago of Fremaux & the CBSO with soloist Christopher Robinson in the Saint Saens Symphony 3 with prominent part for Organ. Before we were blessed with Simon Rattle in Birmingham, Fremaux taught us the finest orchestral works of his native French repertoire. Critics of all his albums agree he excelled in it, and I infinitely prefer him and his poetic insight to say Karajan or Klemperer in it every time. Heard throughout on a high end system after a wash and vacuum, both sides played near mint, in gorgeous warm audiophile stereo, This is one of the greatest accounts of the work here of the vinyl era. Nice low plays for its age example in great sound. Our ethos is to offer you best sounding analogue only pressings of vintage records. Here is another beauty of that type. We offer massive postage subsidies to overseas buyers on multiple purchases. i.e £1 extra per lp to a maximum of £15, then no extra charge. We pack carefully in custom made hard card boxes. If the appearance or playgrade suggests it requires it, our records are cleaned on a wash and vac machine, using art du son fluid in distilled water. This is already in a new heavy poly outer with antistatic inners added with outer sleeve and records all layered behind each other to prevent splits.
