Description

This is part of a big auction of 45's from several independent 1950's LA-area labels that I'm running this week. I apologize if you were looking for the Rockabilly auction. Due to some upcoming travel and time restraints, I've had to change the order of the auctions. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Duke Records and a Chess/Checker/Excello auction later in October.

Release: The Native Boys - Valley of Lovers / Laughing Love

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1956


Notes: The last of just a handful of singles released by this group in the mid to late 1950's.  They did have a minor hit in 1956, but all of their stuff is pretty good and very much worth hearing.  The A-side on this one is more of a ballad, while the B-side is an upbeat almost R&B track.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in very nice shape with just a couple of tiny little scuffs. Super clean and glossy. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are also very clean with just a bit of light scuffing and no tears/writing/stickers. Great looking copy of this one.
