COMUS " First Utterance

Dawn DNLS 3019 (pressed in England )

An original 1971 UK pressing housed in gatefold jacket. This came from the collection of a former radio DJ who not only stamped his details on Side 1 of the label but also etched his initials on the dead wax at the center. The sanding of this initials made  it to be very smooth hence causing the stylus to glide swiftly on to the center(the third picture shows the offending part). I have played this several times in the past and always immediately lift the tonearm up when it reaches the end of the last track. Without sounding immodest, I use a US2400 cartridge but was never wary of playing this album. I was in two minds about listing it but decided to go ahead in view of its rarity  (please see my detailed grading below).

 

UK buyers please also note that  I am based in Singapore but the system assumes that as a seller on Ebay,UK should indicate a UK postage cost of 4GBP which may not even cover surface postage let alone registration (ie tracking). Please read my shipping section below.
