Description

Up for auction here is a copy of the Corrosive's 1982 Breaking Point / Livin' On The Edge 7" on Corrosives Records. The band that would become the Effigies actually started life as the Corrosives way back in 1979, but the Effigies all quit, leaving the Corrosive's vocalist to put together a new band (with the same name). This record features the later lineup, and doesn't really excite me too much. It's kinda punky metal, but without much fire. BUT, if you play the record at 33 RPM it turns into awesome dirgey Flipper-metal that would do the Obsessed proud. Sleeve is EX, vinyl is VG (light scratch across the B side).
