Description

Original '67 copies are in a league of their own for audio....if you snag a lightly used Mono or Stereo...boy .. you are gonna be in for a real treat. There's some amazing audio packed into the masters of this BENCH MARK TITLE...
An original 1st stereo pressing of Gears. MATRIX A1/B1. The vinyl comes housed in an original STEREO COVER front laminated with correct stereo format indicator TOP LEFT on rear.. We also have the original inner from the time too.. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and has only seen lightest careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback with one slight deviation per side. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Plays superb clean which is important for this style. Clean into the quiet moment...if you really wanna hear the discrete guitar Clapton weaves into the audio...you really need the best copy you can et your hands on. I am pleased to report --- this copy will pretty smoke anything you put up against it. It might well be the best stereo I've heard. You might pick out a couple of crackles in one isolated spot per side. And that's about it! An excellent strike rate by any measure.
Cover (Ex) In lovely condition and many original examples will not be looking this spritely after this passage of time. lovely shiny and well cared for front...tiny nick above Clapton's head...blends in well [minor].  The rear is really well preserved. Minimal edge wear and sharp openings. The spine is 80% intact with a bit of wear. The cover retains excellent rigidity. A beautiful specimen.
