Description

An original 1st mono press of FC on the UK Reaction label. Matrix A1/B1 - 1st cut. Please note label design is consistent with 1st issue and is flat with no ridging. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original E J Day printed cover with patents pending. Also included is an original Decca styled inner from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) In very nice condition and has only seen light to moderate use. Under close inspection we could make out a few light marks per side, and a superficial trail - nothing heavy, or troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a NEAREXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. By and large it plays very nice with bold audio, but not perfectly quiet in all sections. Expect a touch of light static briefly in a couple of tracks per side. Nothing invasive or persistent. A very accomplished rendition which will suit most tastes providing you're not uber fussy.
Cover (Vg+) In very nice condition and has been looked after down the years. The front looks real sweet - it's nice and  shiny, and flat with just a couple of thumbnail creases. The rear is very nice looking too with just a light bit of ageing and handing in a couple of spots. In reality, it's much nicer than what many examples look like by this stage. Edge wear is mostly light and the openings are still sharpish. The spine exhibits a bit of wear as is very common so don't expect to make out any text easily. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex) Hardly aged at all. No splits.
