Cream Wheels Of Fire Rara UK Mono lp Polydor 582031/2
Matrices: 582031 A1 421, 582031 B1 420, 582032 A1 420 and 582032 B1 420
The Record is graded vg. It is clean and shiny and lies flat on the turnatble. There are a number of sizeable marks that are visible in daylight. They make very little, if any contribution to the sound which is excellent throughout. Any contribution they do make is limited to the run ins and between tracks. They are barely audible even there but they are visually noticeable.
The labels are excellent with only a little light wear at the spindle and absolutely no rips, tears, writing or stickers etc.
The cover is graded vg+. This is a notoriously difficult cover to find in anything other than a very tatty state. It was frankly almost impossible to keep it in near mint condition. This sleeve has been kept about as well as it could have been. There is some very light wear (see photos) where the silver ink has come away leaving a roughish texture but the edges and corners are much freer from wear than most copies. Some wear here is inevitable (see photos) but the overall impression is of a very well kept sleeve.
This is not a perfect copy of this lp. It sounds great and the sleeve is very well kept but the visual impression would not suit the most exacting of collectors - which is a shame, as just listening to it, you would not think it was in anything other than excellent condition.
