Issue: original Japan 1st issue (1970), with rare Obi and lyric insert

Vinyl Grade: Near Mint, superb example.  I can find only ONE spindle mark, very faint near the spindle hole, on each label.  It has been 10 years or more since I played this one, and there was no way I could pass up the opportunity to hear it again.  I have to say the Japanese vinyl is amazing.  "Woodstock" is playing right now, cranked up to 2 o'clock position on the volume (well past half-volume) and it is a beautiful thing.   Will finish when side two is complete.

Side two plays as well as side one, not surprising considering the visual condition of the vinyl and the single spindle mark on each label.  It could take years before you find another 1st issue example that plays like this.

Cover Grade:  Near Mint, textured and embossed material like the original U.S. cover, all gold-fill for text is intact.  Note the close-up photo of the top front cover showing "MT 2023" catalog number and the close-up photo of the bottom back cover showing the 2,000 yen price and Nippon Grammophon markings of an original 1st press.  Archive-quality example.

Lyric Insert: Near Mint, original, shows the "MT 2023" catalog number, always stored in a separate poly album sleeve

Obi Grade:  Near Mint, no tears, completely intact including the backside "Hojyuhyo" portion.  Many Japanese albums of this era have brown spotting, either on the cover or the Obi (or both), but this example is spot-free.

Notes: CSN&Y's all-time classic.  Japanese pure virgin vinyl, all-analogue, original 1st issue, with original Obi and Lyric insert  —  a complete package, with everything in top collector condition.  Amazing example of one of the best albums of the classic rock era.

There are many great sealed audiophile records in my other listings, but there is not too much to describe with sealed albums.  Now that I am getting to the original first pressings and promo copies, this gets a little more fun and interesting.  There will be some great and rare original first pressings (U.S., UK, Japan) coming up, so please check back regularly.

Packaging (open LPs): The album will be removed from the cover to eliminate the possibility of seam-splits.  The LP and cover are placed in a clear outer protective sleeve, and sealed.  The (now sealed) album is then sandwiched between two large cardboard stiffener pads, carefully centered and taped together.  This keeps the LP stationary and the album cover centered, allowing the oversized cardboard reinforcement pads to protect the edges and corners of the cover from dings. 

Tracking: You should automatically receive your Tracking Number by email when the Shipping Label is printed.

No Return Policy:  This collectible LP is long out of print, not replaceable and fragile by nature.  I have packaged many hundreds of valuable record LPs over the years, but most people have not, and it's not an easy thing to do properly.  When I have accepted returns in the past, both times (yes, I've had two albums returned in the last 14 years) they arrived with damage to the cover.  I realize it's not intentional, but it happens.  One trip through the postal system is enough, so this album is offered with eBay's 'No Return' policy in effect for this listing.  As always, if there is a problem with the album itself (e.g., item is somehow not as described), just let me know, I am a reasonable person and eBay's money back guarantee is still in effect.  Of course if the album is damaged during transit please let me know immediately and SAVE the packaging because it is needed for the Insurance claim.  We will get the Insurance claim filed right away and process your refund as quickly as possible.  Please check my feedback, you will see that I only offer top quality record albums and my customers are happy!
