Description

Original yellow label with black strobe-like lines around the perimeter of the label, deep groove, mono.  Leader, Curtis fuller, trombone; Walter Bishop Jr., piano; Stu Martin, drums; Buddy Cattlett, drums; Jimmy Garrison, bass; Les Spann, guitar., 8 tracks. This is a showcase for Curtis Fuller.

Cover: Good(-)  6" split on the top edge. Scuff marks from a record ring on the front cover with light general aging on the front and back covers. Also a very light, transparent stain mark along the spine on the back cover. Some edge wear, particularly on the bottom edge corners.

Record: VG++   Visually shows very light wear with a few light, short surface rub marks.  Most of the record shows very little or no wear.  Side 1, Track 1 has 1 faint click toward the end of the Track. Track 2 has 1 click on the first revolution. This is followed by 1 click and light groove noise for 1 revolution.  On the balance of the Track there are 7 or 8 random clicks, mainly light, barely audible. On Track 4, 1 light click and faint groove noise for 1 revolution on the first 1/2 of the Track. On Side 2, Track 1, 2 faint clicks near the beginning of the Track with slight groove noise, barely audible on several revolutions on the first 1/2 of the Track with 3 or 4 light clicks at the end of the Track. Track 2 begins with 3 or 4 revolutions of light groove noise. This is followed by 4 or 5 light clicks and 2 clicks mid Track. On Track 3, 1 faint click and 1 click on the last revolution on Track 4. Audibly checked.
