Description
PMC 7068 with all -1 matrixes.This record has been in my family since new and is now 44 years ago. Although it has had pretty heavy use it has survived remarkably. None of the inserts have been used and the cover has always been kept in a protective PVC sleeve. The SLEEVE is in EX (+) condition with one laminate crease on the rear and a small bend on the front bottom left corner. It shows only the lightest wear round top opening edge and is NUMBERED 0025165... The PICTURES are all EX+ with only a small light line on John Lennon preventing a MINT grading.... The POSTER is unused and BLACK INNERS are MINT... The VINYL does display heavier wear and though eminently playable without any real nasties or jumps is far from MINT. Overall, visually I'd grade it VG (+). Playing notes are as follows; SIDE ONE plays nicely with light surface noise which is really only noticeable on 'Bungalow Bill'. There is light popping at the end on 'While my Guitar' which runs into the very start of 'Happiness..'. Audio grade VG++ ... SIDE TWO shows a larger non-sounding surface scratch but has super audio grading EX... SIDE THREE has noiseless run ins but more noticeable inter-song crackle with heavier noise at the end of 'Yer Blues' leading into 'Mother Nature'. By normal standards it's acceptable and is the only time on all four sides I'd say it could be mildly intrusive, audio grading VG... SIDE FOUR plays superbly with an EX+ grading. Indeed Revolution 9 is wonderful having never been played since 1968. Overall this is eminently playable and the audio quality exceeds visual quality - you won't be disappointed by this very LOW NUMBERED White Album, and the vinyl could be upgraded. I have vacuum cleaned the records so they will need two plays as soon as possible..... PLEASE NOTE NEW INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING COSTS ... EUROPE £9 on all articles over £26 (£6 below) ....
