Description

SETTLE IN FOR A LONG RUN OF COLLECTABLE LPs OF VARIOUS MUSICAL STYLES!!  This is a reasonably priced ORIGINAL 1961 U.S. JAZZTIME MONO DEEP GROOVE PRESSING of the 1961 LP titled 'Reaching Out' from The Dave Bailey Quintet.  It is Jazztime Records catalog number JT 003, deep groove pressing, blue labels.  This is the same LP that was recently auctioned in completed eBay auction number 390294032229 - My LP on offer here is in considerably better condition than the LP which was the subject of that auction - Please refer to completed eBay auction number 390294032229 for the results of that auction.  Personnel: Frank Haynes-tenor sax / Grant Green-guitar / Ben Tucker-bass / Billy Gardner-piano / Dave Bailey-drums. Tracks: Reaching Out, Our Miss Brooks, A Flick Of The Trick, One For Elena, Baby You Should Know It, Falling In Love With  Love.  Condition of record is a real nice mid to high VG+ with some light surface and sleeve marks which are mostly not the result of use and mostly show up only under strong light, cannot be felt, and have no effect on play.  Labels have no problems at all.   Condition of cover is conservatively a high VG/ low VG+ with a 2" split at the top right corner (I have carefully and neatly repaired this split by taping from the inside), some light staining and age discoloration, a fair amount of ring and contact wear, and some wear along the edges and on the corners.  Cover has no tears, stickers, or writing.   This LP would be a choice addition to any modern jazz record collection!
