Description

Original UK issue, 1st pressing with laminated front cover & spine, un-laminated back in a condition that will be hard to better! (based on how long it took me to aquire this copy!)
Cover has a colour variation differing from represses in which this release is green in tinge. A repress will not have this rich green colour to the front image.

This is the extremely rare and highly collectable first edition sleeve that excludes the GEM logo on the rear. When initially preparing the UK edition cover art from the US supplied artwork, RCA mistakenly removed the GEM logo from the rear sleeve. Close examination of the cover shows it has been artworked out. It was subsequently restored on the next UK print run.

Disc has the "Rasputin" and "Bobil" etchings with first press 3T Matrix. The audio is crisp and dynamic that you would want from a 1st press. It does play with occasional clicks that are light and mainly audible between some tracks . There is no crackle or hiss that you would associate with a well worn disc!
Sepia-print liner with lyrics in VG condition with minor creasing and marks.

Inner sleeve has blue text with Patent No. and "Made In England". Dated 6/72
