Description
Available here is 12" vinyl LP by David Bowie - Heroes. Issued by RCA in 1977, it’s a US 1st pressing, which has the catalogue number AFL1-2522.
Identifiers - Looks to be a 1st pressing variant with the following marks ….
Matrix / Runout - A Side - Etched - AFL-1-2522-A-3
Matrix / Runout - B Side - Etched - AFL-1-2522-B-2
Vinyl Condition -Very Good - The record is very bright and clean and probably little played. Only minor surface marks will be found and there are no worrying scratches. Having listened all the way through, I can confirm that there is no jumping or sticking and barely a click. Background crackle/noise is present but not excessively loud and in any event only really evident during quieter moments, such as the instrumentals on side two. I fancy that the grooves might clean up to excellent with just a little work.
Cover/Sleeve Condition - Very Good+ - Original outer cover with minor signs of edge/corner wear. However, it would appear to have been an import into the UK and typically there is a small cut to side spine edge. Inner lyric sleeve is comparable.
