Description: This is a beautiful still-sealed copy of David Tudor's release on the well-known experimental label Lovely Music, which features the collaborative efforts of avant-garde violinist Takehisa Kosugi.
Additional Info: Absolutely phenomenal album issued by the ever-reliable Lovely Music some years ago. "Pulsers" is a mind-boggling piece created for a complex modulator built by Gordon Mumma. Random rhythmic patterns emerge in a dense unfolding heap, which later merges with a tape of Takehisa Kosugi improvising, giving the sounds a slightly mystical feel. Astonishing. "Untitled" is an even noisier piece that utilises amplifiers, attenuators, filters, switches, and modulators to create a racket that would make even Masami Akita proud. Top it all off with some improvised vocal work from the aforementioned Mr. Kosugi, and you've got a first class ticket to the outer reaches of the stratosphere. Don't miss this one, folks.
