For sale here is a VERY rare LP.THE SECOND (especially in this condition) by DAVY GRAHAM  " FOLK,BLUES & BEYOND " and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK MONO 1st Pressing on the 1st Press UN-BOXED DECCA label.THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS ONE OF DAVY GRAHAM's RAREST LP's EVER, AND HARDLY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK 1965 MONO 1st PRESSING ON THE 1st PRESS UN-BOXED DECCA LABEL. 1st PRESS 1A/ 1A MATRIXES, AND 1st PRESS  FRONT LAMINATED CLOUT & BAKER SLEEVE ...THIS LP IS MEGA MEGA RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD...this is the ORIGINAL UN-BOXED DECCA UK MONO 1st pressing from 1965 and is in SUPERB condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. LK 4649 on the 1st PRESS UN-BOXED DECCA label...(have a look at my photo's) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing..

Labels are the sensational deep crimson UN-BOXED DECCA format in excellent++ condition. With the UN-BOXED DECCA logo above the central holes on both sides of the labels to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity. Has a few minor spindle lines to indicate that the record has not been played much at all!!, but has NO damage of any kind. NO graffiti , NO rips NO tears or stickers and would therefore grade as  excellent++ condition+!!!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight  vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic.Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees , There are NO surface marks,NO scratches NO blemishes at all. Only a few very tiny faint wispy lines that are visible whatsoever!!!. A remarkable visual and impossible to locate in this in this condition! and would therefore grade as excellent condition!!!!! The vinyl has a beautiful full sheen which would be impossible to find on a record of  44 years old!!!!....

Sleeve

First issue front lamimated Clout & Baker sleeve is in excellent condition for a record of  44 years old!!!..Showing only some mild light laminate wear lines, mainly close to the edge and spine ,with virtuallyNO ring wear at all !!!.The sleeve has absolutley NO graffitti or sticker marks whatsoever!!!!.The sleeve is in excellent condition and a Fantastic collectors item . The Spine is straight and clearly legible.This is a fine example of this sensational UN-BOXED DECCA  classic !!!

Folk, Blues and Beyond is the second studio album by British musician Davey Graham, originally released in 1964.

It has been considered Graham's most groundbreaking and consistent work[1] and a defining record of the 20st century. It has also been a primary influence on some of the most popular musicians in Britain ranging from Bert Jansch to Jimmy Page and Eric Clapton.

His first album, The Guitar Player, was almost exclusively jazz based. He was also known for his collaborations with folksinger Shirley Collins, which had established his name in the purist folk communities in Britain.

Most of the tracks on the album are a fusion of traditional western folk/blues and Middle-Eastern music. This synthesis of world sounds was inspired by Grahams frequent traveling across the Asian continent from the early 1950's onward.

Graham also utilizes jazz progressions to re-innovate and contemporize traditional sounds, especially on the blues tracks of the album. For example, the opening track is a cover of "Leavin' Blues", written by Leadbelly, which is a straightforward blues in C. Graham's version uses the DADGAD guitar tuning, and he speeds up the tempo to give it a more 'rocking' sound. His cover is also infused with an exotic, middle eastern sound, accredited to both the tuning and the exotic musical scales he uses throughout the song.

In 2002, a remastered CD version of the album was released in the UK.

my records are condition graded visually in accordance with Record Collector's Grading System as follows 

MINT (M): Unplayed, pristine condition, often still sealed.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in almost brand new condition with no apparent surface marks, full original vinyl lustre, and no deterioration in sound quality.The cover and any extra items are in near perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and/or packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record obviously has been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover and/or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated noticeably, perhaps with some distortion and/or scratches. The cover and/or contents may suffer from folding, scuffing, spine-splits, major discolouration, etc.
