THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1963 UK ISSUE OF DAVY GRAHAM’S FIRST LP “THE GUITAR PLAYER” AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE IN THIS CONDITION! THIS WAS DAVY’S FIRST LP AND SOLD FAIRLY POORLY AT THE TIME. MOST OF THOSE COPIES GOT KNOCKED AROUND SO IT IS CONSEQUENTLY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION! THE VINYL IS IN PERFECT CONDITION. THE COVER IS IN OUTSTANDING CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. DONT MISS THIS VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY!
The Catalogue Number is GGL 0224 on the yellow GOLDEN GUINEA label.
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see picture) with NO wear, NO writing, and NO spindle marks. THIS RECORD HAS RARELY BEEN PLAYED AND THEN ONLY ON TOP QUALITY HI-FI EQUIPMENT. The vinyl is in SUPERB condition with NO scratches, NO scuff marks and NO signs of wear. THE RECORD STILL RETAINS EVERY BIT OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record sounds as STUNNING as the visual! It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR UNDISTORTED SOUND, NO sticking, NO jumps, and NO crackle! The record plays SUPERBLY with ZERO DISTORTION! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way! Brilliant!!
The laminated front cover is in OUTSTANDING condition for its age! It has NO wear to the spine but there are five horizontal creases from the left hand edge of the front cover due to its being stored in a Record Shop record rack prior to sale – the longest is 1.5cm and the shortest 1cm. There are NO other creases to the front cover. There is wear to the EXTREME corners of the front cover (see picture). There is MODERATE edgewear to the open edges. There is NO rubbing to the front cover – it essentially retains all of its original glossy just-pressed look.
There is some discolouration to the laminated edges of the back cover (see picture). There are NO other blemishes at all to the back cover apart from MODERATE edgewear to the open edges and wear to the EXTREME corners.

For packaging I use strong record boxes with extra stiffeners to stop damage and bends to the cover. All LPs are sent out with the record packed separately from the original cover to stop splits and damage to the cover.
