Description

Debris     Static Disposal      PIG 0000

NOTE: Yes this is an ORIGINAL ISSUE!!!!!

From the Anopholes reissue blurb:
Name-checked in the now legendary Nurse With Wound list and originally released in 1976, this one of a kind Dada/punk/psych masterpiece from Chickasha, Oklahoma is a must for fans of raw, twisted and beautiful pre-punk psychedelia. Influenced by bands such as Captain Beefheart, the Stooges and early Roxy Music but more akin to contemporaries such as Hearthan era Pere Ubu, Siren-era Chrome, Indiana-era MX-80 Sound and Canadian miscreants Simply Saucer, Debris' sole LP is a slice of truly mind altering sonic mayhem.

Well said, but I don’t think this says enough. This is an awe inspiring record, reputedly recorded “under the influence” in less than seven hours, and is a true bridge in every sense from the psychedelic era to the punk era. Only 1000 copies were pressed, making this a difficult find in the DIY sphere, but reputedly most were destroyed in a flood; God knows how many actually exist, and she’s not talkin’! I can remember sitting in my little radio station in 1976, slapping this baby on, and just turning into a quivering lump of pleasure-jelly at the insane sounds they put out. Simply one of the greatest private-issue recordings of all time, and on my personal list of “must-own”. I can not say enough positive things about it.

Disc is a lovely VG++(a few hairline marks on the track “Boyfriend” that do not sound). Cover has just a touch of
general wear! You’ll be hard pressed to find another copy, much less one in this kind of shape.

After a hiatus, during which we moved and built our Permanentrecords library/vault/watering hole, we are finally up and running as an Ebay seller again. Welcome back to all our old friends and hello to new ones. We’re going to try things a bit differently this time. We will still feature great, rare, obscure, strange and little-known vinyl, but we’ve decided on no reserves and a very low opening bid on even the choicest stuff. We’re hoping that this will keep you coming back to us for the chance at some genuine bargains and maybe even steals, as we allow each item to find its natural price. We are also hoping to expand into some of our other interests in the near future, like vintage clothes and books. We will of course still try to maintain the same high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Good hunting!
