Sleeve: EX -
The sleeve is clean, solid and complete, with no rips, no tears (slight de-lamination in the right hand corner). No seem splits and no sleeve creases. Well kept sleeve with normal wear and tear.
Inner Sleeve: NM
Amazingly well kept original DECCA full frequency inner paper/poly-lined sleeve. No discolouration, damage or creases.
Label: EX +
Clean labels, no stickers or damage. Signs of been played i.e. very light visible spindle marks.
All the records I sell have been played thoroughly, hence why there is both a visual and audio grading to enable you to get the best possible impression of the record you are bidding on.
Vinyl Visually: Side 1 EX - / Side 2 EX -
Side 1: The record has a full original glossy sheen but does show some signs of having been played, there is scuffing at 5 o’clock however this does not deteriorate the sound quality (see audio grading below).
Side 2: The record has a full original glossy sheen but does show some signs of having been played, again there is a scuff / light scratch at 7 o’clock running into the centre of the record for ¾ of the playing surface, but this does not deteriorate the sound quality as it is extremely light and not a scratch in the true sense of the word. (See audio grading below).
Vinyl Audio: Side 1 EX / Side 2 EX
Side 1: The sound quality is excellent, displays no loud crackles, no loud clicks and no jumps. There is some minimal low level background surface noise (occasional static / clicks) in some places; however this is occasional and only appears infrequently and is not consistent throughout the playing of the album. May be removed by professional cleaning
Side 2: As above.
Overall: Although this record has visual scuffing on both side I have played it thoroughly and these do not affect the sound quality of the record. There is extremely minimal surface noise and on Side 1 there are only 2 small clicks throughout the entire recording. I have aired on the cautious side with this grading due to the visual scuffing on both sides. This is a great record for any collection.
