This is from a batch of classical records donated from a single collection to a local hospice which I am selling on their behalf. Due to the miserable summer I've had an opportunity to part-listen to some of the collection so can give a more accurate, albeit subjective, opinion of their audio condition - played on a high-end Roksan/Artemiz/Shiraz turntable combination. I've listened to the beginnings and ends of both sides of this record (about ten minutes or so). In my opinion it's usually these areas where any audio defects are most obvious - the beginnings because this is where the cartridge is lowered or dropped into play and the ends because this is where tracking is most difficult. I'd describe this record as excellent with just minor and short-lived surface noise at the beginning of the sides. The laminated gatefold cover is also excellent, front, back and inside.
