Description

Rare Decca UK stereo ffss LP, SXL 2010, 1E/3K matrix suffixes, 'Original Recording By...' on label rim, Beethoven Piano Concerto No.4 in G major, Wilhelm Backhaus, piano, with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt.?

Front-laminated, flip back sleeve has light edge creases and edge and corner wear, plus some obvious ringwear. Flipbacks have some creases, and the back has a little browning, plus ringwear grubbiness, and a little writing at top right. Overall, the sleeve grades VG-.

Vinyl has a few very light hairlines, but these mostly seem not to affect what is really clear, strong audio. About halfway through side 1, there is a small mark which causes 13-14 clicks during a quiet passage, and there is a noticeable line from halfway through to the end of this side, but this seems not to affect audio. There is occasionally noticeable light background crackle, but overall, the vinyl grades EX.
