Decca SXL 2010 Backhaus/Beethoven ED1
Beethoven Piano Concerto 4/Wilhelm Backhaus with the Vienna Philharhomic Orchestra conducted by Schmidt-Isserstedt. Wide Band label, Ist pressing "Original Recording", grooved label, blue-border back cover. The vinyl is in excellent condition, with just one tiny mark on side 1 sounding 5 ticks, otherwise very close to near mint. The cover shows some wear with a bit of peeling cellophane and staining, but no splits or tears.
SELLER INFORMATION
I have been collecting records for over 30 years. and spent 5 years grading and selling classical records. I am in the process of paring down my collection – I simply have too many records! I am listing only the best records both in terms of quality and condition. The majority of the records I am weeding out will be disposed of on a wholesale basis. All records are cleaned on a Nitty Gritty Mini-Pro record cleaning machine and treated with Gruv-Glide. They are then carefully inspected visually and play-graded on an audiophile turntable and sound system. All records are shipped with a new polypropylene outer sleeve, inner sleeves are replaced with new where necessary. Lps are shipped in custom made record mailers and are packaged in a professional shipping warehouse.
AUCTION INFORMATION
Record grading: only new records are mint, so the best possible grading for a used lp is near mint. Excellent condition refers to a record that has been played but shows only minor wear. This may include scuffs that do not sound, minor surface noise on very old records, or just the very occasional tick. VG+ records will reflect a good deal of handling and play. I will detail any issues regarding condition. I do not clean or repair any record jackets; that is left to the buyers discretion. Condition will be described.

SHIPPING AND PAYMENT
Shipping within the USA is via Priority Mail for $8.00. International shipping is at cost. Shipping costs will be combined for winners of multiple auctions.
