DEEP PURPLE
“MADE IN JAPAN”
MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original first STEREO press released in Chile in 1976 by Industrias Eléctricas Y Musicales ODEON S.A. (Odeon Records), licensed from Deep Purple Overseas Ltd., catalog number 4187/8, with matrix numbers TPS 3511 A SH in Side A, TPS 3511 B HS in Side B, TPS 3512 A HS in Side A of second record and TPS 3512 B HS in Side B of second record. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER GREAT FIND from Chile!!! And what a SUPERB CONDITION!!!
“MADE IN JAPAN” was originally released in 1972 but we have to wait in Chile until 1976 to see this masterpiece record released here. And we got it like many cases of that period with and UNIQUE COVER!!! Yes Sirs, the gatefold cover is made with 3 single pieces of cardboard, one of them for front and back cover, the other for the left non-laminated inner cover and the other for the right non-laminated inner cover, with the single pieces of inner covers on the flips with inner mouth for both records. The cover keeps strictly the original artwork with title and tracklist written in English only in both the outer and inner covers. At the bottom of back and right inner cover it’s written in Spanish: “Marca Registrada. Fabricado Y Distribuido por Industrias Eléctricas Y Musicales Odeon, S.A. Santiago – Chile”. In labels the album title and tracklist are written in English. Yes Sirs, AMAZING FIND!!! NEVER SEEN IN eBay BEFORE!!!
The cover was already described and it’s in great VG or VG+ condition both the front and back cover, clean and clear, solid, no missing parts, minimal ring marks in outer covers, more evident in inner covers with moderate wear, no writings, light creases in the corners and edges, no rips, the left side inner cover is partially unglued at the top flip, but complete with no imperfections, and some little punch holes. Lamination has not suffered damage but at the bottom edge you can see a very light mark of humidity. The records are in superb VG+ or EX- condition both records, glossy, clean and clear, with hairlines, scuffs and some light scratches which don’t affect sound at all. Labels are in absolute NM or NM+ condition the sides 2, 3 and 4, clean and clear, and in EX- or EX condition the Side 1, clear and clean, but with a light mark of humidity. The sound is in EX- or EX condition the Side 1, clear, clean and loud, with a soft background noise (background noise was normal in most of records pressed in Chile), with occasional crackles and very light pops here and there, more evident in the beginning of each song and in silent parts, in VG+ or EX- condition the Side 2, clear, clean and loud, but with constant soft crackles, in VG- or VG condition the Side 3, clear, clean and loud, but constant soft crackles and light pops, most evident in the beginning of each song, and in EX or EX+ condition the Side 4, clear, clean and loud, with minimal crackles, which don’t affect the experience to great this great and historical live album. Overall a MEGARARE record with an UNIQUE GATEFOLD COVER in a great condition, with records still in a great clean and glossy look, and superb audio quality!!! Sure this MEGARARE PRESS with full laminated gatefold cover and a GREAT sound after almost 36 years is a MUST for everyone and more for all Deep Purple fans and collectors!!! Yes Sirs, NEVER SEEN IN eBay BEFORE!!! WOW!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the cover and labels in detail.

_________________________________________________________
We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.
MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.
NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

FEEDBACK
We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for. And we expect to receive a positive feedback from buyers who receive the records immediately after they have got the records.
IMPORTANT TO READ
We are not responsible for all the taxes, duties, fees you could have to pay in your country, but I always declare the records as gift.
If you have some doubt or question feel free to contact us, we will be glad to answer all that you want to know about this item.
