Early Stampers

 

Cover: Original Garrod & Lofthouse non gatefold cover with laminated front and unlaminated rear. Has the triple flip-backs to the rear cover. No writings, doodles or seam splits. Very small 1/4" inch tear to rear. Excellent condition - see photos.

 

Inner sleeve: Original sepia EMI 'ads' inner sleeve. Near Excellent physical shape just has some stains. 

 

Labels: Excellent+. No writings, stckers or doodles. One EMI box labels.

 

Vinyl: Play tested. Nice sheen. Side 1 looks and plays VG. Side 2 looks Good (couple of scratches on tracks 1 & 2) but plays VG. No skips/jumps. Some crackle and occasional pops/clicks.

Gradings.......

 

Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.

Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.

Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant  scratches.

Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.

Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc

Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
