Stormbringer is the ninth studio album by British hard rock giants Deep Purple, released in November 1974 on Purple Records (catalog number TPS 3508 in the UK, and BSK 3104 via Warner Bros. in the US). It’s the second album featuring the Mark III lineup—David Coverdale on vocals and Glenn Hughes on bass and vocals—ushering in a bold fusion of hard rock, funk, and soul.
