For sale here is a VERY rare LP. released in September 1968 (especially in this condition) by DEEP PURPLE called "SHADES OF DEEP PURPLE " and is an ORIGINAL 1968 UK STEREO 2nd Pressing on the 2nd Press PARLOPHONE label. THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VERY DIFFICULT TO LOCATE. THIS IS EASILY DEEP PURPLE's RAREST LP's EVER, AND HARDLY EVER TURNS UP FOR SALE... TRY AND GET HOLD OF ANOTHER ONE!..NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN SUPERB!! CONDITION...(have a look at my photo's) THIS IS THE ORIGINAL UK 1968 STEREO 2nd PRESSING ON THE 2nd PRESS PARLOPHONE LABEL. BUT HAS THE ULTRA RARE !!1st PRESS 1 / 1 MATRIXES, AND 2nd PRESS FRONT LAMINATED GARROD & LOFTHOUSE SLEEVE ...THIS LP IS MEGA RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ULTRA RARE RECORD...this is the ORIGINAL PARLOPHONEUK 2nd pressing from 1968 and is in SUPERB !! condition!..The record is pressed on a slab of THICK black quality vinyl. The Cat no. is PCS 7055 on the 2nd press PARLOPHONE label...(have a look at my photo's) and is a UK STEREO 1st Pressing..

Labels are the sensational black / silver EMI / PARLOPHONE format in near mint condition!!.With the PARLOPHONE logo above the central hole on both labels. to confirm that this is the very first issue of this magnificent rarity.Has only 3 or 4 very minor spindle lines, to indicate that the record has possibly only had 3 or 4 very carefull plays !! With NO damage of any kind. NO graffiti , NO rips NO tears, and NO sticker marks and would therefore grade as near as mint!!

Vinyl

Thickly pressed heavy weight  vinyl pressing with jet black mirrior like surfaces That have that just pressed look!!. A magnificent vintage classic . Against a strong halogen light and angled at 45 degrees , There are NO surface marks,NO scratches or blemishes at all!! Only 4 or 5 very tiny faint wispy lines are visible whatsoever!!.An excellent visual and impossible to locate in this condition!!!.Would therefore grade as excellent++ /  -mint!!

 

Sleeve

Second issue front laminated Garrod & lofthouse sleeve is in superb condition!! Showing only a few miniscule amounts of laminate creases, and a tiny amount of laminate lift to the bottom of the sleeve. With NO rips, NO tears, NO graffitti or stickers whatsoever!!! and is a pleasure to view and a Fantastic collectors item. This is a fine example of this sensational PARLOPHONE  / EMI classic. The spine is pefectly straight and clearly legible, and would therefore grade as excellent +++
