DEL SHANNON COLLECTORS: Issued during 1961, here's a stunning and rare original UK stock copy with the mis-pressed 'B' side of this great hit tune from DEL SHANNON with "RUNAWAY" on the UK LONDON AMERICAN imprint # HLX 9317 and although the record states it's backed with "JODY", it actually plays "THE SNAKE" by MAXIMILIAN.
This copy has the 4-prong centre intact and plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in a strong excellent plus condition verging more towards mint minus with the lightest of surface sleeve rubs and absolute minimum of crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. The labels are very clean on both sides and showing minimal signs of spindle wear. Paired with a plain white paper sleeve and a white card outer making this a very nice copy for the collector (see picture scans).
