Available here is a Diamond Head band presentation set, which was never commercially released in this collected form (see history below for the origins of this set). For the most part no official packaging but everything is neatly housed within a large durable brown mailer envelope. The set comprises the following items -

1. Lightning To The Nations - 12" Live LP Record - 1980 Happy Face Records - MMDHLP 1015

Rare original UK 1st pressing of this classic live album! Only 1000 were originally pressed in 1980. Matrixes are MMDHLP 1015 A1 and B1, with Bilbo and Bilbo Tape etched in the run-outs.

Tracks Side 1 - 1. Lightning to the Nations 2. The Prince 3. Sucking My Love
Tracks Side 2 - 1. Am I Evil? 2. Sweet and Innocent 3. It’s Electric 4. Helpless

Condition - Excellent - Bright clean vinyl with a couple of light surface marks. No jumping or sticking but with the odd click and occasional background crackle, most noticeable at the very start of the first side. Housed in a mint sturdy card cover, with slightly creased inner plastic sleeve.

2. Diamond Lights - 4 x Track 12" EP - 1981 DHM Records - DHM 005

Tracks - 1. Diamond Lights 2. We Won’t Be Back 3. I Don’t Got 4. It’s Electric

Condition - Very Good - Bright clean vinyl with a single light scratch running for about an inch during the first track on the second side. Corresponding background clicks for a short period although not overly intrusive given the nature of the music. No other jumping, sticking or background crackle. Housed in a mint sturdy card cover, with slightly creased inner plastic sleeve.

3. Sweet & Innocent 2 x Track 7" Single Record - 1980 Media Records - Screen 1

Tracks - 1. Sweet & Innocent 2. Streets of Gold

Condition - Excellent - Bright clean vinyl with a couple of light surface marks. No jumping or sticking but with the odd click and occasional background crackle. Housed in an original picture sleeve with minor wear.

4. 8"x10" Diamond Head Publicity Photo

Signed and inscribed by all four band members at that time - Brian Tatler, Duncan Scott, Sean Harris & Colin Kimberley.

Condition - Very Good - Light creasing across two of the outer corners.

History - This is quite simply a unique package of rare items, which hopefully speaks for itself. It was never officially issued in this form but I can add the following by way of verbal provenance. I’m auctioning the set for a friend and it was part of a larger collection that he purchased a few years back. I’m given to understand that this Diamond Head package was put together by the band and personally presented to the partner of the previous owner. He was either a friend of the band and/or die-hard fan and it is his name that all four members of the band have inscribed together with their signatures on the photograph.

It is not my intention to profit from postage. If possible I use good clean recyclable material but I also buy bubble wrap, brown paper, packing tape and glue and all items are well wrapped and protected before posting. Items are also weighed and postage calculated before I list at auction and a small percentage of the charge does go towards packing costs.
