"BYRD JAZZ" The motor city scenes… in 'live concert fidelity'. The Donald Byrd Sextet presented in concert, tuesday night, August 23, 1955 by the New Music Society at the World Stage, Detroit, Michigan, USA.Rare original UK pressing microgroove LP with grooved labels, from the late 1950's on Esquire Records (32-019).
Matrix numbers stamped in the run-off grooves are TRLP 5AA / CR and TRLP 5B / CR
Comes in original fully-laminated flipback picture sleeve and has clear poly inner sleeve.

Vinyl is visually in 'good' condition with a handful of light/mild scuff lines on each side. On side A these have virtually no effect on play apart from an occasional hardly noticeable tick here and there, so the side actually sounds very good+. The sound quality on side B is generally the same, however there is a mild scuff line running across all four tracks causing slight ticks, mainly on the second and third tracks, although these are not on every rotation and overall the side is still well listenable!
Sleeve in very good condition with slight discolouring and a small amount of laminate peeling next to the opening edges. Otherwise looks fine with no spine splits, writing or sticker marks.
