Description

This is a must-have rare find for any Donovan fan and collector! This 1967 release from Epic Records features the artist Donovan and includes 2 LP records, along with an insert folder with 12 printed pages of art & lyrics all contained in a cardboard “box set” case.
The record grading is excellent (EX) - disc 1 is borderline NM - and the inner sleeves and insert materials are also graded excellent (EX), albeit there is some damage to the lower edge of the back side of the box.  Please review all of the detailed photos in the listing.  This set seems to have been issued as catalog number is B2N 171, though the discs reflect BN 26347.  The vinyl matrix numbers on each disc are:

  • (Record 1 Side 1 runout, stamped: XSB135146-1D \ o T A4
  • (Record 1 Side 2 runout, stamped: XSB135147-1E \ o T A1
  • (Record 2 Side 1 runout, stamped: o XSB135145-1B \ T 9C
  • (Record 2 Side 2 runout, stamped: o XSB135148-1B \ T C10

I played both LPs completely through on both sides on my audio-technica AT-LP60XBT turntable without issues.  The sound is clean and clear.  The minimal scuffs and marks or scratches visible on the vinyl do not disturb the listening experience.
