Description
Up for auction is a super rare promotional copy of the Donovan album "Mellow Yellow" originally released in the U.S. on Epic Records (LN 24239) in 1967.

Note:
The U.S. pressings of this album are the true First Pressings, not the U.K. version, which came out later because of a contract dispute.
Also, these MONO pressings are far superior in sound quality to the more common and typical reprocessed stereo pressings. You haven't heard Donovan until you've hear him in the original mono mode.
Condition:
The cover is in very nice condition, beautifully preserved in original shrink wrap. No ring wear, no seam splits. There's some slight yellowing discoloration along opening on right where the shrink wrap is pulled back, not a big deal. Corners are nice, sharp. Factory punch hole upper left corner, typical of promo copies. Very nicely preserved. Grade: Excellent Minus (EX-).
The vinyl is in beautiful condition, still has its original glossy shine. No obvious scratches or scuffs, just a couple very small and faint marks that can be seen only under a strong light. Labels are clean, unmarked, no spindle marks. Looks like this record has been played only a couple times but handled very carefully. Grade: Excellent Plus (EX+), just a shade below Near Mint.
