a real first pressing of this in NM- on the very heavy vinyl that Elektra was pressing at that time.

this copy having "Stereo" on the left hand side on the label in an elongated font and the matrix #s below to match

  ensure it as very first pressing of this album and not just an early press from later 68 or early '69. There are several slight cover and label variations of this that came out in 1968  with the tan elektra labels and a lot of people on ebay claiming any tan label copy of this is a first press...The vinyl Elektra was putting out remained pretty thick after that even when they next switched to red labels by summer '69. so a tan label version of this can also be from 1969, NOT even 1968, the year this record came out.

 

CONDITION of VINYL:  PLAYGRADED --Near Mint minus. Side one is perfect, looks unplayed and sounds the same. Side two had a few stray marks and that make me demote it to NM- .Someone else might say this is still overall nearmint.

CONDITION OF SLEEVE: Nearmint minus. the minus solely due for a promo punch in upper left corner, also hints of edgewear. but very little. cover sheen is uniform on front and back with no indentations of any kind. gatefold corners are tight and squared.
