ORIGINAL 1971 issue – not a Repertoire reissue or a foreign issue.
Record in excellent condition, not mint but hardly any sign of play. No scuffs or nasty marks.
Sleeve is laminated on the front which is near mint. Unlaminated back has light handling/age marks, nothing serious. NO rips, splits or writing.
The late Duffy Power (1941-2014) was among Britain’s first wave of late 50s rock’n’rollers, a protégé of impresario Larry Parnes, and an ‘also ran’ of rockers who never really made it big. But it’s his career as one of Britain’s greatest bluesmen – an intensely soulful singer, songwriter and harmonica virtuoso that he’ll be remembered. Entitled ‘Innovations’, the album brought together a dozen unreleased recordings made between 1965-67 for his publisher, Marquis Music, with backing from John McLaughlin, who went to the States with Miles Davis’ plus Jack Bruce, Danny Thompson, Phil Seamen and Terry Cox.
