Description
Up for auction is a very clean copy of the rare XTC/Dukes Of Stratosphear album "25 O'Clock" originally released in the U.K. on Virgin/Wow Records (Wow-1) in 1985. This is a guaranteed, original first U.K. pressing, not a cheap reissue or knock-off. No UPC/bar code on cover. Correct Virgin black and white label.
Correct 1st pressing Matrix markings:

Cover is in very nice condition, very bright and clean. No ring wear or rubbing loss. Corners are sharp, not bumped. Seams strong, no splits. Very small spot in upper right corner where former sticker has been removed with tiny loss (see photo). A couple very small chips on top seam and minor rubbing on bottom seam near opening. Beautiful overall example of this psychedelic cover. Grade the cover Near Mint Minus/Excellent Plus (NM-/EX+).
The vinyl is in very clean condition, very few signs of previous handling. Surfaces retain all their original shine and gloss, no obvious scratches. A couple very light small marks on Side Two, track 3, that cannot be felt, nor do they affect the quality of playback, which is excellent. The record looks new, virtually un-played. No marks around spindle holes, indicating little, if any, previous play. I've owned this record for 30 years and it's maybe been played once, if that. Archived in virtually new condition. Grade the vinyl Near Mint Minus (NM-).
