EXTREMELY RARE - BBC ROCK HOUR (#404) DURAN DURAN LIVE - NEAR-MINT CONDITION - This COLLECTIBLE LP was PLAYED ONCE (for broadcast) and then put into storage,FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS PARTICULAR DISC PLEASE SEE THE DURAN-WIKIA: duranduran.wikia.com/wiki/BBC_Rock_Hour_-_404 Part of London Wavelength's BBC ROCK HOUR SERIES (Program #404) the week of January 23, 1983 - comes in original liner...NO CUE SHEET. (The photo of the Cue Sheet attached comes from a "makeshift" Cue Sheet for the College Concert edition which is the SAME concert however that album was broadcast on a different week and pressed with a different label, without commercials for college radio stations.)
The album contains a BBC presented radio show featuring a live Duran Duran concert recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London (UK), on November 15, 1982 during The Rio Tour.
The recording was scheduled for broadcast during the week beginning January 23, 1983, with the featured tracks also available on various bootleg albums including the BBC College Concert.
THIS IS NOT A BOOTLEG - IT IS THE (EXTREMELY RARE) ORIGINAL ALBUM.
There are commercials on this recording, per broadcast contract.
ALL COPIES were supposed to be sent back to London Wavelength OR DESTROYED after broadcast (per contractual agreement) which is why this album is SO scarce.
Host is Linda McInness (who intros/outros concert) and lead-in by Richard Skinner from the BBC.
