Description

Really nice, beautiful playing original single from this Garage/Rockabilly/Surf group out of Michigan in 1959 on the obscure "Darbo" label #1595. The A side (Credited to Danny and the Galaxies), "If you want to be my Baby", is a real great rumbling Garage/Rockabilly sound with a hot reverby guitar break and vocals sounding like a cross between Elvis/Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent. The B side (Credited to just The Galaxies), "Ad Lib", is a red-hot guitar instrumental, lots of twang & reverb on the lead guitar with great spare backing of rhythm guitar, bass & drums. Cover: Ex., plain green generic type used in Radio Stations. Record: Strong VG, plays very well, no background noise at all, no skips, no repeats. Label: small sticker on the "Ad Lib" side (See Pics).
