THE MADMAN RUNNING THROUGH THE FIELDS'/'SUN CAME BURSTING THROUGH MY CLOUD'


This legendary one & only single release from this cult British psychedelic group dates from 1967 on the Columbia label: DB 8260

Formed by Zoot Money & future Police guitarist Andy Summers, the group were one of the first to perform with psychedelic light shows.
Despite support from some critics, the single flopped but it is nowadays regarded as one the most essential works of the psychedelic era.

Housed in its original full colour EMI advertising sleeve featuring contemporary albums from The Beatles and others.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Both labels are clean & bright with just a handful of light spindle trails around the 'B' side centre hole. The playing surfaces are clean, glossy and 'new' looking with the a only blemishes being a long but non-feelable hairline on the 'A' side and a little non-fill from pressing at the end of each track which produces a couple of 'swishes' on the fade-outs. However overall the sound is clean & unworn with trace of any groove/playwear, crackle or any other faults or distractions

Fully intact with light wrinkles from storage and the disc's catalogue number written in pencil in the rear upper right corner.
