Description
Over the next couple of days I will be listing a quite lovely collection of Pink Floyd albums. These will not include recent re-releases, dodgy quality recordings, or anything even remotely like. These will all be of excellent quality, some even better than that. They will include some UK 1st pressings, and, if not, they will be extremely early pressings. All matrix/mother/stamper combinations will be listed (so long as they are readable!) so you can tell exactly what you are bidding on. All gradings are visual only (due to the size of the collection I have just acquired), but strictly to record collector guidelines.
So here we have Floyds most iconic title. "The Dark Side of The Moon". UK 2nd pressing with "The Gramophone Co Ltd" text around the rim. Matrix numbers are A3 / B2. Mother/stamper combinations are:- (side 1) 2 RAM. (side 2) ? RDT.
- Black cover is in quite stunning condition, always stored in protective polythene cover. Tiniest amount of shelf-wear to bottom edge and retains almost a new look. Graded as excellent.
- Vinyl is in great shape. No marks worthy of note. Very well cared for example. 145 grams in weight. Matrices are A3 / B2. Side one mother/stamper is 2 RAM. Side 2 is ? RDT. A really early pressing and of course should sound great and without the infamous skip on "Money". Graded as visually excellent.
- Both posters are in great shape without damage. There is some light discolouration to the rear from age, but no pin holes, blue-tack etc etc. Graded as excellent.
- Both sticker/postcards are present and in nice condition, but lightly creased from being trapped in the gatefold cover hinge. Graded as very good plus.
- Additional extra included, a Royal Mail postcard of the postage stamp issued to commemorate the album in mint condition.
All albums will be housed in a brand new heavy duty polythene cover. All vinyl's will be housed in a new anti-static inner sleeve. I pack my albums for transit in the most secure packaging imaginable and send 1st class signed for postage with The Royal Mail. I only charge exactly what it costs me!
I accept returns if I am notified immediately upon you receiving the album. This has to be due to it being wrongly described. Not just for a change of mind. I take the time to provide quality photographs of the album, along with a detailed description, so please respect this.
I will post overseas if you contact me first, due to issues in the past and ebays new postage rules it is in both our interests to do so. Failing to contact me first may mean I cancel your bid.
