I am pleased to offer for sale this exceptional copy of the Pink Floyd's eighth studio album: Dark Side of the Moon
Although not the highly coveted solid blue triangle first pressing, the second press A3 / B3 record is widely regarded as the next best thing. In fact, many solid blue labeled records were produced with the same pressing plates. A truly magnificent sounding record and when found in such fantastic condition it is very difficult to improve upon without spending several thousand pounds.

Matrix number: A - 3 / B - 3
Stamper codes: 3 AOR / 1 GMG
Vinyl Weight: 140g
As mentioned above, the matrix numbers inform us that this is a second pressing (A2/B2 is the first). The mother & stamper codes suggest that the record was produced early in the second production cycle which results in superb clarity in the audio playback. Take a listen for yourself below!
The labels are the second variant in which the triangle has a solid blue outline. Unlike some copies of this variant there is rim text present.
The midnight blue tinge to the sleeve suggests that it is a first variant. Supporting this is the absence of the Dark Side of the Moon sticker which was only included on later copies.
The album is complete with the original EMI inner sleeve.

Vinyl: EXCELLENT +
Labels: EXCELLENT +
The labels are bright and clean. No spindle wear is evident. Slight cracking around the spindle hole is visible on side 1.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
The record surface retains immaculate 'factory-fresh' deep-gloss playing surfaces. In bright daylight there are no visible marks that can be seen. Under a strong halogen bulb only very light paper scuffs are visible. Very few records will still be in such fantastic visual condition.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

The audio is fantastic - it is how the band wanted the album to be heard. The record has clearly only been played a handful of times on high quality equipment. There is no sign of groove/play wear. There are quiet lead-ins to both sides and no static in between tracks. A very strong example.
Sleeve: EXCELLENT
The sleeve looks superb. All four sides are bright and clean. Unlike many copies of the first variant sleeve, no rubbing is evident to the front and rear sides. One corner has taken a small bump and shows slight creasing. The other corners are great. The opening edges, top and bottom edges are without wear. The square spine is without any wear. Fantastic.
Inners: EXCELLENT +
The original inner sleeve is in great condition. It is perfectly clean with no tears, writing or seam splits.
Additional Details:
Before the audio test was performed the vinyl was cleaned first by an Okki Nokki vacuum cleaner (using L'art du Son cleaning solution) and then an Audio Desk ultrasonic cleaner.
After cleaning, the vinyl is housed inside a brand new mobile fidelity anti-static inner sleeve.
The vinyl will be packaged outside of the sleeve, both of which are stored inside an archival quality polypropylene outer sleeve.
The record will be sent via an insured courier in a padded vinyl mailer.
