This is a FRESH copy still in the original shrink wrap of Dave Matthews Band Before These Crowded Streets.  This is the first ORIGINAL pressing released on April 28, 1998.  I still have the original sticker on the front cover.  This is a gatefold but it has never been opened.  The shrink wrap was only cut to allow the records to come out.  The vinyl is in EXCELLENT shape.  There is not a single scratch, scuff, fingerprint mark, dirt, grit, or grim in a single groove of this record.  It is flawless.  The price is what it is, this is a very rare find.  Especially in this condition.  Email me with any questions.  My job is to simply ensure that this is the cleanest DMB “Before These Crowded Streets” records available for sale! SS =  Still Sealed

• Still-sealed albums can — and do — bring even higher prices than listed.

• It’s nearly perfect
• Glossy and shiny
• NO visible defects
• NO writing, stickers, or other markings on the label
• NO “spindle marks” 
• Major factory defects also must be absent; a label pressed off center is not NM
• NO surface noise
• Covers are free of markings, creases, ring wear, and seam splits of any kind.

“Except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.”

• May show some slight signs of wear.
• Light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. 
• Slight warps that do not affect the sound.
• Minor signs of handling.
• Marks around the center hole, but has not misshapen the hole. 
• Very light ring wear or discoloration, but barely noticeable.
• Covers should have only minor wear. 
• Cover may have minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch in length), at the bottom.
• May have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking.
• Common notes used:

• CC (cut corner)

• More obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. 
• Lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. 
• Groove wear is evident on sight.
• Light scratches deep enough to feel with a fingernail. 
• When played, has surface noise.
• Some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise.
• Minor writing, tape or a sticker on label.
• Covers will have many signs of human handling. 
• Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, but not overwhelming. 
• Visible creases. 
• Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won’t be obvious upon looking. 
• Someone might have written on it and/or stamped a price tag on it.

• Heavier writing, such as, for example, huge radio station letters written across the front to deter theft
