Description
David Bowie ~ Baby Doll (Original issue)
Release details: This is the original issue of the Baby Doll album. The disc has alternate red and blue Wizardo labels with silver print. I obtained this album second-hand approximately ten years ago and I did not actually play the album itself. This is a reasonably rare album and would be a great addition to any Bowie collection. (I have also listed an excellent/mint- reissue of the Baby Doll album as well.)
Condition of the vinyl: Good+/Very good-. Visual inspection. The black vinyl is clean and shiny. There are quite a few hairlines, scuff marks and other signs of use and age. The red label has some manufacturing flaws that have caused some bubbles in one area. Some manufacturers and distributors of this class of album did not take that much care of the albums so it was not unusual for these types of albums to be in less than pristine condition when your received them. Quality control was not always a major priority. For its age and background this album is in pretty good condition.
Condition of sleeve: Good/Very Good. The plain, white, cardboard sleeve is in good condition although a previous owner used double sided tape to attach the pink insert to the sleeve. The four small pieces of tape are still attached to the sleeve although they are no longer effective. The adhesive qualities of that tape is no longer and the pink sleeve insert is no longer attached to the plain white sleeve. The pink sleeve insert is in good condition except for the four marks left by that adhesive tape. I always sigh when I see what record owners sometimes do to their albums. Please ignore the shadow on the photograph.
