Description

An original 1st press of DD's on the UK RCA label. Matrix "1oly/1oly" - very 1st cut. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold which is uncredited - this is the very earliest version. Also included is the original RCA inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Vg+) In superb condition and has only seen alight to moderate level of use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback on Side 1. Side 2 has clearly seen more use - and grades mostly nearer VERYGOOD+ with a couple of deviations. The only noticeable interference is in the opening sequence of "Rock N Roll". Bit of crackle which dissipates quickly. And 'We Are The Dead' [which is the very fussy number]... expect a bit of background crackle in places on this one. Overall a really nice playing copy.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Wow...one of the best examples I've set my eyes upon. They often have a bit of surface wear, but this copy is unbelievably clean looking. The front is nothing short of immaculate - clean, flat - and no creasing. The rear is practically as good with just incredibly slight handling at the foot. The interior is perfect looking - no issues at all. Edge wear is pretty much totally absent and the openings still sharp. The spine is 100% intact without fading or wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. No splits or writing.
