Description

An original 1st press of DOGS on the UK RCA label from '74. Matrix A1/B1. Etching 'Oly' - indicative of 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original Shorewood gatefold cover. We also have the original RCA inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Has seen very light use and there's still waste plastic in the spindle hole. The surfaces are like mirrors with just one microscopic mark [which does sound]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback WITH ONE DEVIATiON. From an audio perspective this is as good a copy as I've ever laid my hands on. Very little signs of use in the audio at all. The audio signal is as pure as they come with zero background. Even in those low-key spoken word tricky moments - very very clean. There is, however, one very brief issue and it occurs in the opening seconds of 'Rock N Roll'. A tiny little mark causes a couple of ticks - and a brief non-repeating skip. It's in the opening couple of chords and sounds almost like the pianist plays a bum note. And if you were going to have an issue like that - at east it's out of the way early. And if it weren't for said issue - this would be the perfect copy in all other regards.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Not quite perfect - but very close! Surfaces are beautifully clean with zero signs of surface wear. The interior is immaculate. Edge wear is very minor indeed - just slightest evidence. Lovely sharp openings. The spine is in excellent order with all text perfectly legible - just a couple of tiny spots of wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. 
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
