David Bowie "Hunky Dory"
1971 1st Pressing
This is the 1971 first pressing of 'Hunky Dory".I know this because I bought it the day it was released(by accident!) I was working in London and in my lunchbreak would visit an independent record shop(remember them?) Hunky Dory was playing in the shop,when I asked the owner what it was he told me and added it had just arrived.I bought it after hearing just one side, the owner added only two copies had came in and he was keeping the other. The LP sold very little and is regarded as Bowie's rarest.
The condition of the LP is EX+ I tested it on my Linn LP12.I was surprised at how good it is for a 42 year old! There are no pop's,jumps,hiss or clicks,however there is static between the tracks. The static "Bleeds" for a few seconds onto the last track on both sides when played at high volume. The vinyl is bright and has no marks or scuffs. The stamp on side 1 is APRS 5947 3T with the letters AIG further around the label. The stamp on side 2 is APRS 5948 3T again AIG is separate.
The condition of the cover and inner's are Nr Mint.
