Description of the record:

This is a single vinyl album by David Bowie called “Hunky Dory” catalogue number SF 8244 (LSP 4623) early pressing.

Outer Sleeve:

The outer sleeve has been graded as Ex non laminated; has GEMM credit. Bottom-left on back cover is an obscured print of the previous USA printer, retouched by Stace Printers.

Inner sleeve:

Die cut white inner sleeve one side blank the other side with “MADE IN ENGLAND R.S. 3-75" bottom left hand corner; VG condition some creasing.

Insert:

Paper insert with lyrics on in VG condition.

Labels:

RCA gloss orange label with no spindle ware; has Mainman/Chrysalis credit.

Vinyl:

The record has been pressed in black vinyl and has been graded as Ex. The matrix for side 1 is APRS 5947 4E and for side 2 is APRS-5948-3E. The code for the album is SF 8244 and is an early pressing on the RCA label from 1971/72. Definitely not a first pressing, probably a second pressing difficult to tell as there are so many variants. The running order is laid out below:

The record was graded using a Linn Adikt cartridge combined with a Gyger 2 stylus through an audiophile system. For grading definitions see the bottom of this advert.

Having played the record all the way through I guarantee the person who buys the record will not be disappointed; taking the grading into account. However if the item does not meet with the customers expectation then a full refund will be given if the item is returned in the same condition as it was sent. The refunding of postage and packaging will depend on the nature of the dissatisfaction.

Packaging:

The records will be packaged appropriately to prevent any damage from occurring during transit. Sealed records are not tampered with; if the records are not sealed then the following steps are taken. Records are removed from the outer sleeve to prevent damage occurring to the records or outer sleeve during transit. If records are housed in customised inner sleeves then the records are removed from the customised inner sleeves and placed in white inner sleeves. This prevents damage occurring to the customised inner sleeves such as seam splits and ring ware during transit.

Posting times:

Items will be posted the next working day after payment has been received or cleared.

Combining Postage & Packaging:

If more than one item is purchased, where possible, postage and packaging will be combined to give the cheapest and most appropriate postal option.

M = Mint

M sleeve: No wear of any kind to the sleeve.

M record: No wear what so ever to the record. Any mint records in this collection will have been played only a handful of times.

Ex = Excellent

Ex sleeve: Some slight wear to the cover; some impression to the cover; no seam splits.

Ex record: Minimal wear; some scuffs; record plays close to perfect.

VG = Very Good

VG sleeve: Some ageing; minor wear to seams or spine; minor creasing, some impression.

VG record: Some surface scratching; some back ground noise but not obtrusive.

Gd = Good

Gd sleeve: Cover in poor condition; seam splits; tears.

Gd record: Surface scratching; back ground noise is obtrusive.
