HUNKY DORY
(UK RCA VICTOR, SF 8244, 1971)
Lovely copy of this classic. This is the incredibly rare very first UK pressing with the laminated sleeve and lyric sheet!! These just never turn up now. The first pressing sold next to nothing at the time, it was not until Ziggy Stardust that Bowie got really big and this album was re-pressed in a matt sleeve and sold a lot more – those are the copies you always see. But not this one!! The laminated sleeve looks much nicer and it really shows the rich colour on the front cover – you won't be disappointed in this!! Nice! Don't miss out!
Vinyl is in EX(+) condition : looks and sounds great, has one or two light marks which do not affect play
Laminated sleeve is in EX condition : I am being very strict with the grading here – there are some light creases, two on the top edge and a few more along the spine, there are a few light handling creases. The back looks excellent – very minimal wear which is not too noticeable and 'Easter 1972' written on the top left corner in tiny writing (see pic)
Lyric insert is in EX condition : has some light creases but looks nice overall
